At some point, a few years back, I fell off the blogging bandwagon. This wasn't for lack of motivation or interest in continuing to share the incredible bouldering round here. Instead, it was a simple matter of pouring all available time into authoring the Okanagan Bouldering guidebook. The creation of that book involved a massive time commitment, and left little time for updating what was new. Add in personal life changes, and the fact that the Okanagan Bouldering guide somewhat reduced the "mystery" of and need for info about many of the previously unknown areas in the valley, and it's not hard to understand why the Okanagan Bouldering blog fell by the wayside a bit.
Fast forward a few years. In the ever changing, social media driven, instant gratification, video laden climbing world we currently find ourselves within, do people really care much about reading about what's new in the Okanagan bouldering world. Do they really care to read more than a few words written from the viewpoint of some ageing boulderers who maybe never knew what they were talking about in the first place?
This is Will, he is strong! Nerf Roof.
Well, let's see. We're gonna get this baby up and running again. I feel a bit of a fire burning again, and with the help of a few key local boulderers, namely Will (my forearms are bigger than your entire body) Barnes, we hope to get people re-engaged with the Okanagan bouldering world.
So, stay tuned, and hopefully we tickle your senses with our incredible writing prowess!
YESSSSSSS!
